absyketix first encountered electronic music in the 1990s through the cybertrance programme on funradio, which led him to explore the broader range of styles within that scene. he attended his first rave party in 2000 after meeting a dj from that world while at school. self-taught on vinyl turntables, he later moved to usb controllers, and over the years shifted from the rave circuit toward psytrance and techno nights, where he found a more welcoming community. his influences lie in dark minimal teckno and psyteckno, and in 2014 he joined the ethereal decibel company collective after three years of collaboration with the group.
