wake up is a club night series that has been running for eleven years, built around psytrance and harder electronic sounds. it runs two floors: a main floor covering progressive, full-on, and psychedelic psy, and a side floor (called warme stube) running hitech and techno. the venue includes an outdoor area and a large soundsystem, with psychedelic visuals as part of the setup.
this edition marks the series' eleventh anniversary. the night has developed a regular community around it, with the organizers framing it explicitly in terms of continuity and collective identity across its run.
