open eier is a small outdoor psytrance gathering now in its sixth edition, returning for the fourth time to a biofarm site in the thurgau region of german-speaking switzerland. capacity is capped at 500 people, camping is available, and the event runs through the night regardless of weather.

the musical programme spans darkpsy, goatrance, psytrance, drum and bass, and downtempo, with psytrance running through the night as the main thread. two live bands round out the bill, covering hardcore metal-punk and german-language rap. food comes from the farm itself, with vegetarian options and a bar pouring house-brewed beer and farm-pressed apple juice alongside standard drinks.
