freedomraves, a swiss psytrance collective, runs this annual indoor rave anchored around a birthday celebration for one of its founders. the event takes place at a cultural venue on the outskirts of zürich, drawing both swiss and international psytrance acts, and runs through the night and into the morning.

the production includes a funktion-one sound system, 3d video mapping and blacklight visuals, decoration across the main floor and a chillout area, and a large outdoor space with fire. food stalls and a cloakroom are on site.
