monegros desert festival

one of europe's longest-running large-scale open-air electronic festivals, founded in 1994 on an arid desert plateau in aragon and running in a continuous format across multiple stages. after a multi-year hiatus the festival returned in the early 2020s and has re-established itself on the european summer circuit, drawing crowds of around 20,000.

programming covers techno, house, and harder electronic styles, with a main arena built in a 360-degree configuration. alongside that, the event includes an elrow stage and an artcore stage curated by indira paganotto.
