garbicz festival

a multi-day outdoor festival held on a forested lakeside nature reserve near the german-polish border, running since 2013. founded by the team behind the berlin bachstelzen and holzmarkt collectives, the site is built around a swimmable lake and draws around 6,000 attendees across the run.

programming centres on house, techno, and live electronic music, accompanied by art installations and workshops. the festival has maintained a consistent approach to environmental site management across its history.
