an annual open-air psytrance festival run by the waldfrieden events collective, which has operated the site since 2000. the event is framed as the opening of the outdoor psytrance season, gathering around the site's central "shark pool" area as spring arrives. the setup runs three outdoor floors alongside an indoor club room and a healing area with workshops.

for 2026, the production is delivered as a joint effort by optic noise and synaptic eclipse, two teams that merged after a pandemic-related break and are presenting the concept together for the first time as a unified crew. the waldfrieden site is a dedicated festival ground in a forested setting in northwest germany, also home to the summer wonderland festival.
