fusion festival

fusion festival is a non-commercial gathering run entirely by the kulturkosmos collective, held annually since 1997 at a former military airfield in the northeast of the country. the site spans a large open terrain with multiple outdoor and indoor stages, art installations, workshops, and community-built infrastructure developed over decades. the event carries no advertising and no corporate sponsorship, with kulturkosmos managing all production and decoration.

programming covers techno, electronic, and psy-adjacent sounds across the various stages, and the festival draws tens of thousands of attendees each year. it is one of the longer-running and most distinctly self-organised gatherings on the european electronic calendar.
